“ I took a trip to see my sister recently and she happens to work for one of Marty B’s amazing concepts. I’ve never heard of Marty B’s anything so I was thrilled to try out a new place. She took me here for a coffee date and let me sample her food she personally created, plus other food that was she didn’t personally create. And the coffee. Now that I am back in Temple I am slowly dying on the inside. There is no Marty B’s anything down here and my husband and I both have gone on a coffee boycott until we can make it back to Marty B’s Coffee to order more! I can tell such a HUGE difference between the incredible quality of Marty’s compared to Starbucks and Dutch Bros. I’m absolutely baffled. Marty’s taste alone is so pure and “real”. (I tried the Nitro, the Pistachio white mocha cold brew, and even a lavender cold brew.) I never realized how “chemical” Starbucks tasted until I tried this place. Hands down the best I’ve EVER had and I am crying on the inside for not being able to have it again. The Kolaches they serve are freaking incredible. The brisket was my favorite which I dipped in their bbq sauce they give out when you order this. The zucchini bread is something I never in my life would have thought to try, but thanks to my sister I did and it tastes better than banana bread. What’s better than banana bread? That freaking zucchini bread for sure. It was so moist and had an incredible balance of sweetness with the flavor of the vegetable that it blew my mind. Genuinely. Another massive shoutout goes to the Croissant cinnamon roll with the cream cheese frosting. My kids loved it, husband loved it, I loved it, and my sister CREATED IT and I am SO blown away by her talent. Aside from being related to her and loving everything about her already, I’m giving an HONEST review! The cinnamon roll has a slight crisp to it because of the Croissant dough and not the typical cinnamon roll dough used. It’s soft inside and the frosting blows it out of the water. Completely. Next time I come to the Dallas area, I’m definitely heading straight back over to this coffee shop as many times as I can before I have to leave again. Thank you all for being such amazing employees and making all of these masterpieces so perfectly. Your customer service skills are beautiful and you have made me feel so welcome each time I stopped by. And keep blowing Starbucks out of business because y’all are absolutely killing it! ”

“ This was my first visit to the coffee shop, I was very impressed. Very friendly staff, I was greeted at the door, everyone was very friendly. The food was very good. The place was very clean. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Update: I made another visit, and it was just as good as the first time. I tried a few drinks and some food when I found out about happy hour. ”

“ *Hidden gem* (dessert anyone?!) - we went around 7:30 pm on a Friday night. I’m pretty sure everyone in the area is familiar with Marty B’a but did you know they have dessert at the coffee shop? We tried the affogato , blueberry pecan bar , carrot cake , and sheet cake. Growing up in Texas, these desserts (minus the affogato) were nostalgic for me and reminded me of my grandmother’s desserts when I was a child. Paired with their coffee it was an exceptional experience. I was surprised by some of the other reviews about the staff b/c the lady that helped us offered suggestions and was friendly and helpful. Nowadays when you go to most places, the staff seem apathetic and on their phones. It was a “slow” night and the staff was keeping busy cleaning. Very nice atmosphere, quiet when we went, relaxing after dinner vibe. Wife loved the decor. ”

“ Amazing vibe! House latte is really good. Happy hours 4-6pm at the bar which is interestingly cool for a coffee shop. Will be back for the happy hour soon. Plenty of space to work from here, they have free WiFi and ports to charge your laptop at most of the desks. ”
